Multiracial Families

One of the things I love about blogging is the opportunity to connect with other multiracial families, especially talking with other parents about things that are unique to being in a multiracial family. It can be reassuring to hear that others share our experiences or feelings, and it can also help us to be more reflective and understanding when we hear from others with different perspectives.

My husband is black, I'm white, and we have two beautiful boys together. My experience and understanding of what it means to be part of an multiracial family is constantly evolving and, when inspiration strikes, I write about it. My favorite part about writing about my experiences as momma in a multiracial family? Reading the comments from other mommas and poppas that follow!

You can find all of the posts related to multiracial families and parenting biracial kids right here. Here are just a few to get you started:

The Spotlight on Multiracial Families is an opportunity for multiracial families to "get to know" other families like themselves and an effort to create a series of stories reflecting the real experiences of multiracial and multicultural families. The gorgeous families you see in the photo strip are among those who have shared their stories. If your family is interested in being in the Spotlight, I'd love to hear from you! Email me at MusingMomma@gmail.com and I will be happy to send information about how to be featured.
