The topic of crying-it-out has been on my mind a lot lately. Maybe because my 13-month-old hasn’t been sleeping too well this week. Maybe because it came up during girls-night-out with some other moms last Friday. Maybe because, when I started perusing other parents’ blogs, I realized just how many mixed messages we get about handling sleep issues.
I let my boys cry it out (CIO) - both of them. But, before I get too far, let me make a point of saying I am not advocating for or against this approach. I just thought I’d share why I took this road and what I’ve learned.
